The Mayor and Council purchased the old Albertson's store and adjoining strip shopping center for twice its appraised value, used borrowed money to do it and raised your taxes 5% to pay for it. All this with no developer in sight. What eventually goes on the site will be a catalyst for or a drag on the redevelopment of the rest of the Four Corners. There has been much talk about putting apartments on the Albertson's corner. What do you think?
